Daniel Gindis is a final-year Masters student in Communications and Business at the IDC Herzliya. In addition to a proud history of chairing at CUIMUN, Daniel has chaired at other prestigious conferences such as WorldMUN, OxiMUN, GIMUN, MILMUN. Daniel is saddened that this is the first CUIMUN that he will not be part of the Crisis team, though he is excited for new opportunities of chairing his first General Assembly committee at CUIMUN.
Quote: “One of the best things about CUIMUN is the audience: it’s like Harry Potter land but with MUN! (Also there are no giant spiders and/or sketchy pale men chasing you around at night.)”
Grace Chandler is a fourth-year undergraduate student in Communication Studies with a minor in Political Science at Clemson University in South Carolina. A former president of the Clemson International Relations Association, she currently serves as president for her Model UN society. Originally from Washington D.C., she has subsequently moved to Houston, Texas. Grace has attended PragueMUN, LIMUN, and HolylandMUN as well as many others inside the United States. In her free time Grace enjoys teaching exercise classes, hiking, photography, and watching college football (American ‘football’, that is).
Quote: “I have many wonderful memories from Model UN and I hope to make this experience memorable for everyone. I will definitely be bringing a little bit of Texas to Cambridge this year.”
Izabela is a first-year undergraduate student in Politics and Eastern European Studies at University College London. Since May 2014, she served as Youth Delegate at the UN General Assembly. She also worked for the United Nations Global Compact, concerned with the topic of corporate responsibility in the context of environmental protection. She has been an active participant in MUN since 2011 and represented dozens of countries in that time, and has chaired at other major conferences such as LIMUN and OxIMUN. At CUIMUNshe expects that she will infect others with her passion for social issues and for the social policies of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
